A summer afternoon in Woodgate
Woodgate Community Shop's annual Summer Fair brings neighbours together for stalls, activities, fundraising, and a relaxed afternoon around the shop. The fair has been part of the village rhythm since the first one in 2021.
Visitors are welcome to browse, meet local makers and groups, and stay for as much of the afternoon as suits them. Entry is free, dogs are welcome, and the practical details below will be updated as plans are confirmed.

What happens on the day
The Summer Fair is planned as a steady afternoon: stall holders arrive first, the Green opens to visitors around lunchtime, and the day wraps up before the early evening.

Confirmed stalls will be listed alphabetically so visitors can scan quickly. Category filters are ready for when the list grows.
Food at the event
St Catherine's Hospice will provide the main catering for the fair, potentially with a BBQ as in previous years, with proceeds from their sales going to the hospice. Other food vendors may also join as stall holders and will appear in the confirmed stall list.
Chanelle Morris
A classic fair treat stall from Chanelle Morris, serving candyfloss and popcorn through the afternoon.
Club K9
Dog treats from Club K9, with plans for a dog activity area or obstacle course still being confirmed.


Jewellery and accessories from ELT Boutique, with fashion-led pieces and small wearable gifts.
FattyzCookHouse brings bold Caribbean flavours and island energy to fairs, festivals, takeaways, and private dining.


Afro food from Rasiatu Turay, bringing savoury dishes and warm flavours to the fair.


Sa’riah Butler
Returning young stall holder Sa’riah Butler will be bringing brownies, cookies, and sweet bakes.

Apply for a stall
Would you like to hold a stall at the Summer Fair? We would love to hear from local makers, producers, small businesses, charities, and community groups.
Tell us what you would like to bring to the fair, including any gazebo, table, food hygiene, or pitch details we should know. No electricity will be available on the Green. The events team will review applications, confirm the fee, and send payment details separately; payment confirms the booking.

A standard stall place for the afternoon. We will send payment details once your application is approved.

Food vendor donation
As St Catherine's Hospice is providing the main catering for the event, additional food vendors will be asked for a £100 donation to the hospice, on top of their stall price.
